For me, a good photographer is the one who has the ability to give his photographs his own style. The one who does not care what others do or say, who works without fear, always trying to learn and surpass himself. Personally i do the photography i like. If people like what i do much better but first my work has to like me.
While I was working in advertisement i founded with a friend who is videographer a wedding video studio www.4events.es and for 2 years we did wedding videos. People liked our style so they started to ask us for photography services and that was the moment when I started my career as photographer.
For me photography is the art of freezing a moment and having the ability to express a feeling through that image.

For me a good photo is one that makes you feel something when you see it. That that tells you something. The technique is important too but it remains in a secondary plane.
Photography has given me very good times and has allowed me to meet incredible people. Some have remained as clients or colleagues and others have become friends. It would be very difficult to say a specific moment but one a couple flew 1000km to meet me and hire me to make their wedding when they had hundreds of good photographers closer to their city. This made me feel very proud of what i was doing.

I think that in the world of photography it is very important to relate. You can always learn something new, help those who need it and share what you do with others and vice versa.
Unfortunately in the photographers community not everyone thinks the same and i will never understand how some colleagues are constantly criticising what others do.
