Where are you from?

Before being a photographer, tell us what you wanted to be?

I have a degree in business administration but I never worked on that until now that I have my photography business, but I always wanted to be a chef, cooking relaxes me and I like to experiment with different ingredients.

Tell me about the moment you decided to become a photographer?

My father is a civil engineer and  study plastic arts at the same time, and he always liked photography, when he retired from engineering he studied photography. In 2008 he sold me a camera, since then I started practice, I didn’t have no knowledge about photography, so I had any doubt about It, I consulted to him or youtube.  in 2013 after living 2 years in Barcelona  I return to Mexico  and decided to devote myself to full-time photography.

What was the best advise you received when you started your photographer carrier?

The best advice I ever received is to endure and have patience, and save some money.  it is a very beautiful profession but like all business you have to be patient, there will be months when you will not have wedding and others where you will be full, and we have to be smart with the money.

Can you define photography?

They are instants stories stopped in time, memories that come to life with time.

For you, what makes a good photographer?

A good photographer, he has to educate himself by taking workshops reading and also know how to share his knowledge, know how to master several techniques of photography and educate both visually and in learning new things.

For you, what makes a good photograph?

Composition and moments.

What is your biggest challenge today?

Be better than yesterday, practicing and learning new techniques to make unique images for my clients.

Tell us about the day you felt most proud about your work?

I belong to the staff of the best wedding photo congress in Mexico called Boda f, and I am proud to see how many talented photographers come out year after year, see how they arrive with the desire to learn to see their faces of satisfaction as they see the speakers talking about his work. and also more personal when you get messages from your couple, grateful because you captured the essence of a family member who has already passed away, that’s when I say we are doing something right.

Tell us about the relationship you have with other photographers? How important you feel that is.

The relationship that I have with fotogarfos is great, I always try to teach what I know, when they ask me if I do not answer it I look for it so that we both learn, and it is very important to get along with everyone because you never know when you can help.

Can you tell us an advise - photography or business tip - that somehow made your career evolve at any point?

Practice, learn, practice, enjoy and practice.
