Where are you from?
Before being a photographer, tell us what you wanted to be?
As a child I always wanted to be an archaeologist and an architect, then later a film cameraman
Tell me about the moment you decided to become a photographer?
What was the best advise you received when you started your photographer carrier?
Unfortunately, I never had a mentor who could give me advice when I started, everything was a failure and success. I wish I could have the opportunity that today many young people have to do wedding photography workshops with such good photographers but if you had to give a serious advice to be formed and learn from those who admire and work with passion, because without passion It is difficult to work in this job.
Can you define photography?
When coming from the world of journalism as a news reporter, I think it would be to get ahead of what is going to happen, to capture the moment but over the years I have developed other values such as composition and care of light. Light is something that obsesses me and is very influenced by the cinema, one of my great passions.
For you, what makes a good photographer?
For you, what makes a good photograph?
A good photograph has to tell a story by itself, then it must be well composed, it must be harmonious and if the light is correct, making it have a good quality, it will be perfect.
What is your biggest challenge today?
My big challenge right now is not to disappoint myself
Tell us about the day you felt most proud about your work?
Tell us about the relationship you have with other photographers? How important you feel that is.
We photographers are solitary beings that do not leave our cave, it is totally necessary to leave it and relate even if only to know that they have your same problems. I particularly enjoy the different events that there are in the world and I enjoy them while I can as an assistant or giving workshops.
Can you tell us an advise - photography or business tip - that somehow made your career evolve at any point?
